So Google turns up nothing on "Long Range Shooting Ranges in MO/KS".

I've had my rifles sighted to 100 yards, been there, done that, bought the T-Shirt. I've even got the sights marked as to where the perfect setting is for 100 yards. But shooting the same range over and over again is boring.

Does anyone know of a long-distance range in KS or MO? Somewhere within a one or two hour drive of Kansas City?

I lived in KC for a good while, but don't know of any 100+ yard ranges available to the public... one of the many reasons I moved.

I am a member of the Pioneer Gun Club. It is the best! There are many different outdoor ranges including my favorite the falling plates. There are many specialty shooting clubs and events. You take the Bates City exit off of 70. Or you take a turn off of 50 and take Z. Stop everything and go to the link posted by Allank.

They have an indoor pistol range in South Eastern KC in the Hickman Mills/RayTown area. Good group of people.

They do have free sight in days from time to time for hunters.http://www.pioneergunclub.org/Hunter%20Sight%20in%202008_files/image007small.jpg
