Anyone hunt or live in the U.P. of Michigan?? If so what part?? My family owns 160 acres in a little town called Kenton, its in Houghton county. Anyone know where Im talking about??

sure do,

my family hunted the gardner road area west of kenton for the last 60 years. i hunt north of bruce crossing off 45. have 80 acres and access to alot of farm land in the area.

grandma was born in calumet and gramps was born in mass other family from the surrounding area that just about covers the western up. very little family left there now but i still get up there a couple times a year. just wish it wasent such a long drive from metro detroit area or i'd go alot more.

Heck, I am going to Houghton next week for the Off Road Rally.

Watch out for cars traveling dangerously fast through the woods.

hey grey, I was up there last year when they had the rally race. Kenton was one of the pit stop areas.
