I just got the catalog today.
Surplus military Beretta 92's inspected and shipped from Italy with one 15 round mag.
Sounds like a deal.
That is less than I paid for my Taurus PT92

Especially w/ 1 15 rounder ;) Do they mention what kind of condition they're in?

Are we talking about the Beretta 92FSB or an earlier incarnation?

It just says Beretta 92 pistols that are inspected by the Beretta factory before being sold as surplus.
They are listed as very good to excellent condition

How does one go and get one of these catalogs?
The website doesn't list it.

Just a heads up. These are European, heel, release guns. They do not use the same magazines as the domestic U.S. release guns and the magazines will be substantially harder to come by.

Wow, looking closer at the picture it is indeed heel release.
I have never before seen such an animal, the rest of the gun looks exactly like a regular 92 series.

Ohh and the catalog is only sent to license holders. I have a C&R and therefore get the catalog.

FWIW, You can convert the 92 magazine to work in a 92FS, and It looks like you can do the reverse as well. The size and shape of the magazine are the same. I have been using a 92 magazine in my pre-ban 92FS for years as an extra. All it takes is a little work. As long as the pre-94 mag functions in the original firearm it was designed for, it is legal to use in any other type of firearm, pre or post that accepts it, at least from a Federal law/ATF standpoint. Simply cut a notch for the mag release with a Dremel. Use the 92 magazine for measurements and shape of the hole. (I'm not sure if this will work with a 10 round mag as all of mine are hi-caps.)
This looks like a deal to me!
