Aww, guys(Wiping eyes) I'm touched, or is that "Teched"?...

Just got up from a nice dinner with cake, small piece not to throw my pancreas into rebellion, and sat down to this. Wonderful...

Daughter got me a book of trap and skeet tickets, and the whole fam damily kicked in on the new 870 barrel mentioned elsewhere. A good Birfday indeed.

Even Son got his head out of his monitor long enough to get me a terrific card.
I'm truly Blessed.

And I did figure out BC/EU/R all by myself!

And Gfrey, I worked a ten hour shift, shortly attending our congregation's services.

16 hour day tomorrow, but Sunday I get to taper off to 8 hours. Monday I'm off, calloo callay! A serious range trip is in the works, have a case of both trap and skeet loads loaded, a pocket full of choke tubes and a song in my heart....

Thanks, my 57th seems to be one of the better B-days....

Hey OM, very best. We'd like to think that we wish you many happy more 'cuz we're such swell guys, but the truth is we know we need the occasional whack on the head! :D

In all sincerity, very best.

Happy Birthday! Glad to hear it's been a good one. And an 870 barrel! Your family has good taste - enjoy breaking that one in (metaphorically) come Monday.

Thanks, folks.

John, no whacks, just gentle nudges sometimes.

Bob, at Casa McC the custom is to tell the others EXACTLY what one wants. Things are tight with the recent tuition increase here in MD, so the MEC progressive will have to wait until next year...

Just hope I haven't missed too much of your sage counsel on All Things Shotguning.

Oh yeah, I have to watch out for the sweet stuff, too...lest one end up twitchin'-n-floppin' on the floor

Happy Birthday Dave!!

Shooting trap, wobble and SC sounds like a heck of a way to celebrate. Keep that up and your age shouldn't be anything more than another number.

Congrats on reaching a milestone that I hit a couple of months ago myself.

I've warned the kids that, on this occasion for Christmas, parents are allowed to hand out signed self-photos without fear of being accused vain.

My choice?

Pic of me kneeling with a Canada goose in one hand, and my 1958 Ithaca 37 in the other.

Since I have to make it educational, I'll point out that the slide is all the way back, and my finger is CLEARLY outside the trigger guard :-)

Hoist one on us, and thanks for all the wisdom, past and future.
