My new year's resolution was to take it easy on the big purchases. Well, shot that all to heck, but at least I picked up some neato guns!
So far, here's what I got:

1942 Finn M39 VKT, all matching.
http://www.alltel.net/~swingset/temp/M44_Full.jpg
1944 Russian M44, Laminated stock, all matching
http://www.alltel.net/~swingset/temp/P14.jpg
1917 Eddystone P14, all matching (Win stock tho)
http://www.alltel.net/~swingset/temp/Tand77.JPG
BSA No4mk1T Enfield Sniper, all matching
Ruger M77/22 hvy barrel stainless in .22lr
JEEESH! I'm never gonna make it till December if I keep going at this pace. The wife's gonna kill me. Oh well, gotta jump on the deals while they're there I suppose. Besides, I'm
investing, too! ;)

What are you rich or something?
Not now! :D
I'm far from rich, just had a real run of good deals landing in my lap. It was funny, cause one thing would come along, and I have to liquidate something or go on an ebay selling purge to cover it! I actually caught myself one day walking through my house looking at things, just every day things, wondering what I could sell them on ebay for! Eegads, that's when you know you have a problem.
I'm done for a while, or I'm gonna have to sell the kids for medical experiments. ;)

Kids that are toilet trained and polite can bring some big $$; you may want to think it over pretty carefully before passing on the next deal you come across. Besides, selling a kid usually saves you some on the wife, too, after the initial payout...:D

You are truly a hopeless Cruffler. I think know where there may be a mint M/27 that you can pick up for a mere kidney! :D

Great photography and I like that Finnish M39 and your BSA Enfield. I think you're going to give Oleg a run for the $ when it comes to photographing inanimate objects.

Doubt Oleg's shaking in his photographer's boots from my puny skills, but thank you.
I did take some photo classes in college and enjoyed it, but these are pure dumb luck. There's all sorts of places in my house where the ambient light is just superb, and this part is right by my sliding glass door. Lay rifle down, stand on chair, take picture - DONE! Couldn't be any easier. My wife bought me an Olympus C3000 last year for Xmas, and I must say it's a very good dig. camera for this type of thing. It gets the color and tone dead on.
Give it a few years and I fully expect film will go the way of the dodo. Once you get grain-sized resolution (and it's getting there), you're basically at film's capabilities.
