Paedophile beaten by victim in jail

A convicted paedophile has been beaten unconscious by one of his former victims while they shared a Florida jail holding cell.

The former victim, a 22-year-old man being held on a probation violation, recognised Kevin Kinder as the man who abused him and three other boys when he was 11.

He jumped on Kinder, punched him repeatedly and knocked him unconscious Thursday, said the man's lawyer, Ricky Escobar.

"It's such a fluke that these two ended up in the same place at the same time," said the former victim's mother, Judy Coronett. "But think about how my son feels. He was finally able to confront Kinder and fight back after 11 years. I think it's damn therapeutic."

Neither man's jail paperwork indicated their history, so they were inadvertently placed in the same cell with about 65 other inmates.

Corrections officials will decide Friday whether to file new charges against the men. Both suffered minor injuries.

Kinder, 31, is serving 60 years in state prison on a probation violation after serving six years for molesting the four boys. He was in Tampa for a hearing.

Wonder if the police report will get "lost" on the State's Attorney's desk?

People who sexually harm children should be hanged by the neck until dead.

Tejon, the Wolf is entirely too kind. I tend to think of some of the games Apaches played--and worse, those of their women...

Sometimes life is beautiful. Hope that when he recovers the prison population finds out what he is too.

My kids, no criminal justice system required. Hope the jury understands.

AS a Woman and a former Parole officer who had the dirty job of supervising human toxic waste known as sex offenders, I can tell you that pedophiles and rapists don't quit, ever.
I agree whole-heartedly with Art, let's use the Apache women "treatment" methods of aversion therapy. Hmm, wonder if I could get a grant from the Justice Dept. or Nat'l Inst of MH for that?

Isn't it amazing that none of the other 60+ denizens of the cell thought that it was necessary to intervene in the beating.

Though one wonders that if they knew the circumstances of the altercation if some of them might have provided some assistance, informally of course.

Achieving closure can be such a soul satisfying experience! Wonder what probation he violated?

Now now, lets not get crazy. Torture sex offenders? Satisfying as that would be, it counts as "cruel and unusual" and is thus unConstitutional. We should just hang or behead them. Of course, nothing says we have to give 'em an honorable burial. Could save some hog farmers a lot of money.

You said it, mom!

Guys who do kids often get looked down on in the con culture. As they say, the law fails but justice prevails.
