I shot the following:
-12 (2 mags) Fedrel Hydra-Shocks. 2nd rd ea mag failed to load, next 4 rds NO problems.
-24 Winchester WinClean 95 gr BEB FMJ (Brass Enclosed Base).
ALL Loaded, Fired and Ejected NO Problems at all. :D
-100 Winchester 95 gr FMJ.
ALL Loaded, Fired and Ejected NO Problems at all. :D
And NO Cases in forehead.
For the near future I will stick with the FMJ

For the near future I will stick with the FMJ Good call. I would too.
IMO, the most important thing is reliability. The best magic bullet in the world won't do a bit of good if it's jammed at the feedramp.
Does Remington make a Golden Saber in .380? If so, try them. I use them in my old 1952 Sistema which isn't supposed to be able to feed HPs at all. They have a very round nose for good feeding manners. They aren't a shabby self defense round either.

CZ:
I sent my new (50 rounds) 3AT back to Kel-Tec yesterday. Mine was not feeding reliably, had a very rough feel when racking the slide, and 3 out of 5 cases were hitting me in the forehead (I don't mean arcing up and coming down on my forehead - these were ramming straight back hard enough to draw blood).
I called Kel-Tec to confirm their shipping address and described my problems with their customer service department. They asked me for the serial number (011xx), and they said"Oh -you have one of the early models. We need to replace the slide and barrel."
So I have shipped it off (at their expense) and they said they will not only change out the slide and barrel, but will modify the ejector to stop the cases from hitting me in the head. Based on his chuckle about the cases hitting me, I'm pretty sure I'm not the first one to complain about it. I also requested that they polish the trigger mechanism while they have it - we'll see.:(

DAWG:
Let me know how your turns out. Mine SN is also 11xx.
Ill give mine a couple 100 more rounds and see what happens. If it continues to shoot the Win FMJ reliable, I will do nothing but shoot and enjoy, If not I will call them up and sent it back.
Thanks for your input.

Remington does make a 102 grain .380 Golden Saber. Even my Sig 230 (.380) doesn't like Hydra Shoks and will jam with them but never with Golden Sabers or Speer Gold Dots.
