Need help with grips for j frame

I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a set of grips for a j frame, round but. Preferably wood, but rubber if need be. My problem with the j frame is that I have big hands and the measurement from the back of the grip frame to the face of the trigger is too short for me. So boot grips don't work well. I need something that covers the back of the grip frame, adding at least 1/4" more distance to the trigger face, preferably more like 3/8" inch. But here's the kicker: I don't want to add to the height of the gun, so I'm looking for something that's flush, or at least close to flush with the bottom of the grip frame.

Taurus model 85s come with grips like this. Similarly, Crimson Trace has a laser grip that's like this (only problem being that I don't want laser grips, or to pay $300 for the grips).

Does anyone know of a grip that's like a boot grip, but that has extra material that covers the back of the grip frame?

Thanks,

Ben

Some Badgers look like they are like this.

It simply doesn't get any better than Esmarelda. A little expense but worth it.

Thanks, It looks like Esmerelda's grips are all hand made, so on a whim I'm shooting her an email to see if she might be willing to make custom grips for me.

Wish me luck!

Ben
