chipmunk pistol

Has anyone seen one of these in a gun store yet?

Haven't seen any yet. But I'm a member of another forum, Specialty Pistols, and we are doing a group buy on them. The ones we will be getting will have match chambers and red dot sights. You could pop over there and order one if you like. They need 50 orders to get the match chambers.

Yes, I've seen one at Shoot Straight, Apopka FL. I din't bother to ask the price. I didn't know that it's called a chipmunk pistol until I googled it just now.

What is a chipmunk pistol and who makes it?

Chipmunk pistol?

The chipmunk is a single shot 22 bolt action pistol. Made by keystone. The one I'm getting is stainless/camo laminated stock, holo sight, match chamber, for $202. They also make a chipmunk rifle for kids. The pistol I think was geared more towards kids also. But a lot of adults are wanting one. It is an affordable toy, more for fun but could be used for siluhette

Does this company not have a website or something? It didn't appear upon my searching.

Chipmunk made by Rogue Rifle Co. in Idaho is no longer in business. It is my understanding that Keystone Arms in Pa. (Crickett) purchased their remaining inventory and their name. Their triggers aren't very good on the ones I've handled, but may smooth up over time.

Don't know about a website. The triggers could be smoothed out. With the order we are getting the guy that is picking them up and shipping them will do the trigger for an extra $50. The $202 for stainless or $190 blue includes shipping to my FFL. So it would be $252 ss, $240 blue with a trigger job shipped.

I don't think the chipmunk pistol is on there yet. It is new and I think they are getting lots of orders just from word of mouth.

Does it come with the bull bbl. like Rogue's chipmunk?

Where does one find a holster that will fit a chipmunk? Do the chipmunks pay attention when one gives them the safety rules?

And just exactly why are we arming chipmunks?

those guns look hideous , its been in my gun dealers store for a long A$$ time now (collecting dust) - too much wood construction and to top it off it has a lil mini bipod ??

351, they new ones have a fluted barrel. they come in blue or stainles with walnut or laminate stocks. laminate is either black or camo.

Billy, If your dealer has had one a long time its probably one made by a different company. I don't know what they look like.

The new ones look similar the the ruger charger only smaller(since they are a single shot)

from what ive been told , its this (i can take a pic of the one at my gun dealer with my cell phone for ya on friday when i hit the range ?) the one at my gun dealer has a mini scope and mini bipod installed on it tho ?

cool tattoo brother , a buddy of mine has a tattoo of chipmonk right at his waist that looks like it is exiting his drawers with a nut in its hands - gotta see it to appreciate it ?

BillyBA, if thats what it looks like it may be the same. Its my understanding that the new company(keystone) just started shipping the chipmunk. So the one your dealer has may be made by a different company(if they've had it a long time. But the new company may be using the same design?? If you get a chance take a pic and check to see who made it.
I hope they look good in person. I kinda like the look of the pic. And I already have one ordered.

Yesterday I saw one at a local gun shop and REALLY like its looks. It too is NIB and I believe I'll stop by Monday and make arrangements to buy it along with a really weird little Winchester rifle he's got.

Old tread ?? I bought a chipmunk about a month ago. Still the same gun ,stilled chipmunk but with the keystone logo. I put a 2 to 7 power scope on it and it will shoot 25yard groups in a ragged whole and 50 yards around 5/8 for me. It does not extract cci and will call tomorrow and ask about that but federals work 100%. I payed 167 bucks for a blue finish. Odd gun but fun to shoot. Add some bench rest bolt lube to the trigger and it will light'n the pull . Keystone does have scope mount for 12 bucks,
