My Father in Law called the house when I got home today to tell me he had just bought a new revolver. He had been talking about wanting one for a while he just finally decided to get one. Anyway he was asking me about Charter Arms, I didn't say anything good or bad because I really don't know about them. I've really been more interested in autoloaders the past few years. The problem is he bought a Charter Undercover Lite (unless I'm mistaken he said the frame was red) but he wants an old style thin wooden grip preferably walnut to go on it. Every grip I saw listed on Midway USA for this gun was polymer. Is there anywhere I could find a wooden grip listed to go on this gun? Also are Charter revolvers reliable? I don't care if they have the best or worst triggers or ergonomics as long as they are reasonably reliable & accurate. Of course he's already bought it so it might be a little late for that last question. Any help would be appreciated though with the grip question.

Ebay is where I buy most of my grips ...
If they don't have what you want today, try again tomorrow ...
Charter Arms also has a website where they sell grips ...

Thanks for the suggestion Chester. I checked Charters site but everything they have is polymer. I went on Google & dug through about a dozen links & came up empty. Pachmayr did have some that looked kinda like what I think he wants only rubber. Maybe someone else has an idea.

I may have a set in my collection of stuff. I will check and get back to you.
Thanks for the information guys ya'all have been a big help. I looked the places I usually do then searched google under handgun grips-I gave up after digging through 12 sites or so. I guess I was looking the wrong places or not looking hard enough.
Thx, Mike

Eagle Grips makes wooden slimlines. You need to call them to figure out if they'll fit your father's pistola though.
