I just got a remington 870 12gauge and I am looking for a recoil pad already.I have bursitis in my shoulder and a recoil pad would be a big help.

I am looking for something that will absorb alot of the recoil.I dont know how to word this but less felt recoil is better.

What do you guys suggest me getting?I am gonna use this shotgun for all sorts of hunting.Deer,turkey,squirrel.I just want to be able to get alot of practice in and be comfortable shooting this pig.

I know its a 12g and it is supposed to kick but I dont want to develop a bad flinch, the more practice time I can get in the better.

I use a PAST Recoil pad, it's availible for about 30 bucks on Gander (Aka Money Mountain and other terms) I wear a light jacket under there.

Wife also wears the pad and uses managed recoil ammuntion on her gun.

I testify that my PAST can soak up the recoil of the three inch full magnum rounds like those made by Winchester and I have no limb issues or numbness at all after firing.

I have been told via email that the PAST Pad is capable of protecting against .300 winmag rifles as well.
