I am sending my Python to Colt to correct the timing. While it is there I was wondering if there are any modifications you guys have had Colt do to a Python that will make this great shooter even better.

Probably best to send it to Cylinder & slide and not Colt, from what I've read.

Other than the action job, there's not much left to do to the Python other than cosmetic things like engraving or fancy grips.

About the only common change I saw over the years was to change out the ramp front sight blade for a Patridge undercut target sight, but this is best on actual target pistols, since the undercut sight blade cuts up holsters.

One of the benefits of paying the price of a Python, is that most of the possible improvements to a revolver are already done.
