Im sure this has been asked several times but im new to the boards and need advice. What do you folks recommend for a .40 S&W bullet to be used for USPSA and practice in between. :)

180 grain cast lead TCFP. It's all I use. It's worked well for me for quite a while.
All the Best,

I like the 165 gn FN frontier full jacketed bullets and the 180gn MagTech FN's. I use both for IDPA matches as well as practice. The 180's seem to do a little better on the knockdown plate than the 165.

I just checked for more .40SW bullets at Midway and Caballa's and most of what I want is on backorder.

I know a cast bullet manufacturer who has those bullets in stock and ready to ship. If you're interested, I'll be happy to provide specifics.

ps - I also heard that this manufacturer is offering a 5% discount on bullet purchases to High Road Forum members.
