Tightening 1911 front sight (tenon type)?

Did a search but didn't find my exact question - I have a Sereis 70 with a loose sight. I got Brownell staking tool and was just going to tighten it that way. Anything else to be aware of? good method to make an impromptu mold to hold the slide and sight inverted in the right relationship?
I have searched forum topics and Brownell's instructions w/o finding anything terribly useful.

I set mine up pretty much like done here:

Some red Loctite is also useful when trying to tighten a loose sight. There's a chance that old sight material has work hardened and will not move well or there is simply not enough material left to do a bang up job.
Regards,
Greg
