Hi,
I have been loading the Hornady 220 grain bullet for my .375 Win but with the sky-rocketing cost of these bullets I have been looking around for a substitute and found several cast bullets at around 260 grains.
My problem stems from the fact that all these bullets were designed for the .38-55 Win. and as such are oversized to .379.
What would be the effect of using the larger bullet in my rifle and can the bullets be re-sized?
Regards

I cast my own for 375 WIN. 250 LFP and they are pretty much sized at .378 - .379. No problems whatsover using Reloader 7.

If the .379" bullets will chamber after you load them, there would be no problem shooting them.

If they bulge the case to the point they won't chamber, you can resize them to .377" without a problem.
