Sabots in Kodiak doubles

Has anyone here fired sabots out of a Kodiak double rifle? I recently aquired one in 50 cal, 1-48 twist. Im gonna try some sabots, because they will stay firmly on the charge when the other barrel is fired. The rifling has wider lands and grooves than typical modern muzzleloaders. This is the reason for my previous post, about 1-48 twist barrels. I have read that some of the guns seem to digest 350-500gr bullets, others not.:scrutiny:

If the sabots don't work out then consider trying out the precision made Hornady FPB's available at many Walmarts.
