The only gun I ever regret getting rid of were my 2 HK rifles -- a 91 & a 93. Now, on the eve of another AWB and the recent frenzy has me thinking. I know it's a copy & I know it has its shortcomings but I've been thiking lately -- should I consider a PTR????
I know this may be the wrong place to ask, but I am looking for an objective forum. Now, just as some background, I have my 223 rifle -- a very reliable RRA mid length that I am very very happy with. In 308, I have a loaded M1a that I am also very happy with. Plus the M1a is CA friendly so I can drop mags w/ no problems.
TIA

They are okay.... Just as good as the HK91s.

Yes, you want one.

You want the $3 magazines too, lots of them :)

One of the best things about the rifle is the magazine cost.

Oh sorry, he must have had a price increase. $3.75 now :)

Think you will be happy with one! I shot mine today and it was wonderful. Not so much fun off sandbags, but then no 308 is particularly fun off sandbags...
