1903 question

came across a springfield mark I, serial no. 1.1m (made 1919?) with a barrel marked with flaming bomb and 5 18. wood stock refinished but can see faint cartouce, rectangular on left side and (p) proof aft of trigger guard on stock. metal almost perfecr (a re blue by the same person who refinished stock?). oiler and cleaning kit in stock. any idea of value? rare?

Saw a 1919 1903 in a shop here in Colorado Springs last week, it was going for $2,000 or so, but was in excellent condition. The 1903 from that area is getting rarer and rarer these days but can still be found. With a barrel stamp of 5 18 I would venture a guess that it was built, or possibly rebuilt at the arsenal, in May of 1918.
