Assuming you buy from more than one dealer, can you price shop over the phone? Can you pick up the phone and ask about a price at a store you frequent or do they have a policy of no price quotes by phone?

I've tried it.The places I've called acted like it was too much work
to look up a price.What they don't know is I'm the kind of shopper
that has already made up my mind about buying.I just need a price!:D

I generally just pop in if it's a local shop....although I've found the perfect shop around here and have yet to find a lower price anywhere else on a comparable gun.

Before I found the store that gets most of my business that how I bought most of my guns. I would use the net (web sites like this and manufactures sites) to find what I wanted and then call around. Never had much of a problem. Houston is a fairly large place. Lots of miles between gun stores.

Local store is more than willing to get a price. They usually have to call if it's not in stock and will call back quickly. They have good prices too.

One gun store in the next town will not price anything over the phone unless it is in stock. :confused: :cuss: :banghead:
