Looking to put a set on my 629 but don't know what model number or where to find them:confused:

629 is an N-frame.

I am not sure if there are stainless square butts.

I'm thinking they're all round butt, but I'm not sure.

Call Hogue up and ask them, seeing how they make them for the X-frame. And yes they will fit your 629. I have see a couple of them out there.

Called Hogue and they said the only customer they sell to is S&W. But S&W wants $37 for Hogues:eek: Has anyone else seen these grips anywhere else online?????

i have a (great condition)used round butt set up for grabs. if interested hogue monogrip. $10 + your wood set. or $25 shipped(came off my 29 classic)

In short....Yes! Looking to cover the backstrap. Have the standard Hogue's on there now (& I do like them) but the backstrap is exposed & still diggs into the hand on occasion.
