Low noise ranch gun

Unlike lucky Art Eatman noise around my ranch is a big deal. Afew boxes of .22's are ok to neighbors(1000feet away and screened by trees) some .22wrf or.32S&W longs out of Stevens Favorite are OK.. Loud supersonic stuff echoes across my canyon pretty loud. So what to do if you want to kill critters (dogs after livestock, coyotes racoons ect) or slaughter an unrestrained animal? Pistols are way too noisy for their power and iffy over 25yds. Single shots are not handy for the fast action sometimes necessary, .410 shotguns are only good to 10yds and 20 ga to 20yds and is getting noisy(supersonic crack!) . Well I loaded up some .44specials a few weeks ago using Speer Gold Dot 240grain hollowpoints with 6 grains of Win 231 to shoot out of my Browning B-92 .44mag carbine. I just got 2 coydogs(out of 6!) last night at dusk at 30 and 45 yds respectively thru chest.2" exit wound and quivering! I slaughtered a goat at 20 yds the day before(hence the coyotes!) and shot the neck where I got the same results-it cut the throat AND broke neck! The best part is these appear (I haven't chronod one yet) sub sonic and are quiet! Noise like a .32acp pistol BUT knock down like .223. I am sold on this load as a 'ranch round' PS Master Cartridge sells a similar round-it's where I got the idea!:)

Sounds like you're already on the right track. Here, suppressed weapons are legal (with the proper taxes). Try a non-magnum pistol caliber rifle, like a .45 ACP?
