Hi gang,

I have alway's liked the Pennsylvania flintlock. I want a long one.
Not sure which one to buy. I want one that will be able to shoot for fun, and hang above my fireplace on deer hooves.

suggestions? And prices? and where to get it?

Thanks...

Custom made if you want a 44" barrel one. Most barrels are about 42" but every now and then, you might find someone who will make a longer one for you. Try Jim Klein. He builds working man's guns and studied under Homer Dangler. Jim also boasts of being one of the last students to graduate from a one room schoolhouse. He got through high school thanks to the comic book versions of books. BTW, he should be well learned in the Civil War by now, I sent him three "graphic novels" about the Civil War. :p

I found a TC total length is 54" Bran new and it cost $799.00 plus shipping and tax, so far.

Thanks, I will look up Jim Klein.

Cain's has the Traditions Pennsylvania Rifle for $635 which is one of the only .50 caliber factory production Penn. rifles. These are very accurate shooters at a bargain price from Spain:

The Italian Pedersoli's Penn. rifle comes in .45 caliber:
