Well, I've been searching for .380ACP, like many others. This past Sunday, thinking I'd struck gold I ordered 200 rounds of .380 L from Graf & Sons. Kinda pricey, but what the hey; my cupboard was empty.

Well, this morning the box arrived, just as the folks at Graf & Sons said it would. With great excitement I opened the box and was immediately disappointed.

I got just what I had ordered. Its just that .380 L isn't the same as .380 ACP. Well, those kind hearted folks at Graf & Sons gave me a return authorization and I'm sending it back for a refund.

I'm just so happy that the folks would accept the return of the ammo as I haven't the foggiest idea what kind of gun you would even use for .380 Lungo anmmo.

Kudos to Graf & Sons.

Ralph

Even the Google doesn't help here, every page is in italian.

Well here's what I found out: It's .380 Long, which is an obscure rifle cartridge. Fiocchi is apparently the only company making ammunition in that caliber.

Yeah lungo is Italian for long. I found this picture comparing the .380 lungo to .22lr from http://www.9mm.cz/munice_pistolova_fiocchi_380l_c.html.

And I found a gun that will shoot it at http://www.champlinarms.com/Default.aspx?tabid=30&mid=345&ctl=GunsDetails&StyleID=2&GunID=1312.
