I searched and didn't see it. In this months Outdoor Life they had a little write up on the first SAA. It sold at an auction for $862,500. Just thought that I would share.

Inflation. Last time it changed hands I think it went for about $325,000. A fairly significant specimen in the history of firearms I would say.

This was a fairly recent discovery in someone's attic, IIRC. Anyone have a link?

Yup, inflation--and some carefully-placed promotion, I'll bet.
