Hello, I've had this model 70 30-06 since I was 15 years old. When ever I try and look up the value in a blue book it has a ton of different model 70 listed example; lighweight, sporter, hunter, etc. My question is what is this one, I can't find any marking on the gun that says.
If it helps I believe it was made in '65 or '66
Sorry I meant to include a picture but I had a brain fart.
scroll down for picture and serial #

To ID your rifle requires more than the information you've given. All markings, including serial number, would help and good, clear photographs in addition would be even better.

Well, your post doesn't give us many clues!
"Since you were 15?"
SO, how old are you now, so we can do the math and kind of figure out how long ago that was?
Then, we need to know if it was new or used when you got it?
Prior to 1964, there were basically the Standard, Featherweight, Carbine, Super Grade, Featherweight Super Grade, Varmint, Target, Westerner, Alaskin, National Match, and Bull Gun models.
Plus a Standard & Super Grade with Monte Carlo stocks.
After 1964, several of those persisted for a while, then Winchester, and later USRA, begin to make so many models you needed a score book to keep up with them.
XTR's, Super Expresses, WinLights, Rangers, Classics, Ultra Grades, All-Terrain's, Laredo's, Compacts, Super Express, Custom, Custom Classics, Sharpshooter's, Ultimate Classics, Varmint, Heavy Varmint, Laminated Classic Camo Stainless, Sm's, DBM-S's, WinTuffs, Black Shadows, etc, etc., etc!!!
Plus, push-feed, controled round feed, and a combination of the two!
Wait, I need to go take an Excedrin! :banghead:
Perhaps if you could provide a photo, or even more detail as to barrel length, steel or aluminum floorplate, sights or no sights, cut or pressed checkering, etc. someone could have a shot at I.D.ing it.

Whenever I try and look up the value in a blue book it has a ton of different model 70 listed Exactly right. So you will understand why no one can help you unless and untill you provide the serial number, and photos if possible.

Appears to be a post-64, late 60's Standard grade.
1967 to be more closer.

Agreed, 1966 (source (http://www.wisnersinc.com/additional_info/Winchesterpost_64_M70.htm)) or 1967 (source (http://www.armscollectors.com/sn/winlookup.php)) standard grade.
