anyone have any experience with Ramshot powder. Im looking at it for my 3006. thanks

I have some Ramshot Big Game and Hunter ready to load for the 30-06. Have not tried them yet but am looking forward to it. Hope it turns out well because Ramshot is quite a bit cheaper than Hodgdon. Cheaper powder = More shots downrange.

Have tried several types of Ramshot powder in both pistols and rifles. Good stuff. Still use some, but prefer Vihtavuori, even though it's more expensive.

My brother and I use it for .223 and .308. We, generally are happy with it.

Varget seems to work better in some applications, though. :mad:
