trying to remember the model name of a push knife type model that benhmade produced a few years ago that has since been discontinued. IIRC, it was japanese for "bearclaw" (no not the pastry either).......

I'm not sure that Benchmade has ever done a push dagger, but the company that preceeded Benchmade, Pacific, did several. Benchmade continued to use the butterfly logo that Les used for Pacific.

Yep, Benchmade did one.
The Kuma Zume, designed by Steve Schwarzer.
Wicked little piece. Had a crappy sheath I hear. But a good sheathmaker should be able to fix you up on that.
Wish I had one.
Check E-bay if you are on the lookout for one.
