The choke on my Win. 1300, 12 ga. becomes loose after about 50-75 rounds.
Not that it's about to fall out, but it does need tightening.

Other than lock-tite, is there a solution to this, or is it something I just have to live with.

I don't want to forget to check it sometime and have it loosen to the point that it damages the choke, the gun or me.

I would only clean the choke with it OUT of the gun in solvent for a while, then dry it off leaving NO fingerprints anywhere on it.

Oil it down very lightly on the outside threads and around the bore of the choke. VERY lightly.

Clean the gun barrel and it's internal choke threads carefully. When you are done, reinstall the choke and try to get a good tight fit.

If the choke is still loose or not tight, maybe time get a new one.

DONT PUT ANY LOKTITE ON THOSE CHOKE THREADS@!!!!!! NOTHING. Just a touch of oil on there just a little wipe on the threads.

DONT PUT ANY LOKTITE ON THOSE CHOKE THREADS

WHAT HE SAID!!!
Keep them lubricated with oil or grease. I prefere an industrial antisieze compound that incorporates a little of both, and check it every 25 rounds or so. It seems to be the norm for screw in chokes to "shoot loose" after X-number of rounds. The threads are very fine and easy to overtighten or "pull a gall", Then its Gunsmith or new barrel time.

I like to check and make sure my choke is tight every 50 rounds or so on my 870. I have even been having trouble keeping the nut holding my barrel on tight so I check that at the same time.

Clean it well, then apply commercial choke tube lube or antiseize compound. If that doesn't help, it might be worthwhile to talk to the factory about other options.
