I understand that as a security guard I am required to purchase a rather smart looking polyblend uniform.

Last time I looked into it I was advised to get a solid (read Colt/Smith/Ruger) 357 or 38 cal revolver with a 4 inch barrel.

Still don't own one. Never did go to work as a security guard.

A few years ago I saw a small class of guys at the local range doing their qualifications.

It was so scary I left the building without asking any questions. Some of them were having trouble getting the revolvers loaded. None of them could hit anything with any regularity.

Actually, I did. I was in a mall in California, couldn't find the store I was looking for, and asked a security guard. He didn't speak English.
