I'm new to reloading 12 gauge shot shells. I've been checking various recipes and have a question - for primers many of the recipes refer to "Rem 209P" - is this the same as "Remington 209 Premier STS Primers" (on the box)?

Wanted to make sure I'm using the right primer for the recipe.

I am pretty sure they are the same. not 100% sure though. You might try going into the white elephant in spokane and talking to some of the guys behind the counter, most of them know what they are talking about and they also have pretty good prices on primers and other reloading supplies.
