I have a couple of Saigas in 7.62x39. I bought them both last year and have intentions of converting one of them. I have to admit that I enjoy handguns a lot and haven't really got into shooting long guns. It's not that I think long guns wouldn't be a hoot, it's that it's much more convenient for me to go shoot at an indoor range about a mile from my house.
I was going to trade one of the Saigas in part for an SP101 to let my sister shoot, but she has such bad tendonitis in her right arm that she doesn't think that she can do it. So, I got to thinking maybe I should trade it for a GP100 with a 4" bbl in stainless. I have a few S&W .357s but not a Ruger.
I haven't decided whether to trade the Saiga or not because I know they have already gone up a fair amount since last year and I couldn't replace it for what I paid for it. On the other hand, do I need two of them.
I have learned one thing there are too many guns to be bought and I don't have near enough money. If I did trade the Saiga, I would have to give some to get the GP100. Any advice?
