I have only read the first page of this site, but it seems to be legit, and have some interesting info.

Oh, for Pete's sake. Not again.
This has been VERY thoroughly hashed out over on The Firing Line.
Please be aware that there is no INDEPENDENT verification of the information posted on that site. Take it all with a grain of salt.
I'm not saying it's false, but you get a lot of junk on the internet, posted by people with axes to grind or just looking for some recognition. Maybe that's what this is and maybe it isn't.
But I've owned CVA guns for over 30 years and put thousands of rounds through them with no results anywhere near what this site claims. And I don't personally know anyone who has. So, my personal experience is somewhat different.
I'm personally not interested in pursuing any of this. If any of you are, please be my guest. Just remember not to take ANY of it at face value, including who the people are, what they claim as the provenance of the documentation they present (just because they say it's a legal document doesn't mean it is) and what their motives are. Demand truly independent verification and double check everything.
Have a good time.

and shooter I personally have never had a problem with any of their products.I find most problems with gun owners are self inflicted. There are rules to follow and skipping or ignoring common sense rules cause bad results

OK - Read it. He is talking about '95 &'96 CVA's that have already been the subject of a recall. You are NOT supposed to keep using one of those in the recall numbers. Also sounds like he is trying to vindicate all of the negative comments about dear Randy. I have a CVA Buckhorn (2007) which is way beyond the recall. It also is of the new level with two mounting screws, and thumb safety. I regularly fire Hornady HSST easy loading sabots backed by 70 Gr 777, and have not seen anything that would cause me to worry. I've inspected the barrel after every range session, and see no indication of possible failure. No, I do not have a magnaflux machine, but 70 gr is ½ the max load, and should never be a problem.

The guy claims to be a private investigator with paralegal training who's trying to drum up some business. Claims to have found dozens of CVA failures causing injury, etc. Claims to have researched court cases against CVA that were settled in order to divert publicity. Like I said, maybe legit, may not be. Don't care.
