I've got a box of this stuff that I've shot and am wondering how good the brass is for reloading? I don't reload very hot, 42.5 gr IMR 4064 or 42.3 H-4895 under a 168 gr SMK, both are very accurate.

Their brass is great. Some find it to be soft, but I have always gotten good groups with it. It may not last very long though.

If I can get 3 or 4 loadings out of it, I'll be happy. I'm only neck sizing, since its been fired through my chamber.

You should get a lot more than 4 loadings out of it.

I know, I'm hoping for at least 10 loadings.:)

Don't use it, it's horrible. Send it to me and I'll dispose of it for you. I won't even charge you anything from my trouble. :uhoh:

I don't have any in 308 but my 22 hornet has 16 reloadings on it and still going strong. I do anneal it every 5 times though.

The best groups I ever shot were using Prvi .308 brass. Great stuff.

I read an article a few months ago in handloader magazine... apparently norma and remington brass are the top for life expectancy with over 23 reloads each. Prvi wasnt mentioned but LC brass was and they noticed cracks at 15-18 reloads... I suspect Prvi brass will be in the "teens" range anyway.
