Doing a bit of market research here. I'm looking for a muzzle rise compensator for a Benelli M4 shotgun. I've seen the Gunners Choice Recoil Reducer, but can't quite understand why they put exhaust holes all around rather than directing the muzzle blast up and or sideways like a Benny Cooley compensator (which I've found to be remarkably effective on my AR-15 for both recoil reduction and muzzle rise reduction). Does anyone know if there is a product that does this for shotguns? I would use a Gunners Choice choke tube extension for mounting a compensator...just don't like the one they sell. Maybe they can just not drill the holes on one side. ;)
