Browning Buckmark magazine disassembly

Hi everyone,
Anyone know if it is possible to disassemble the magazines for the Browning Buckmark pistol? I noticed that Brownells sells all the parts for the magazine available separately, but I can't figure out how to take my magazine apart. I'm asking because it would be nice to simply be able to replace the spring when they inevitably wear out rather than the whole magazine.

RGO ... It comes apart from the top.
Push the follower all the way down then push the thumb button out through the hole.
Make sure you have something over the top of the mag .... the follower and spring can take off like a rocket.

RGO, don't hold your breath waiting for the mags to have problems. Mine have over 40K rounds through them without anything more than having WD40 sprayed in them and let soak for a minute, then hosed out with some brake cleaner to clean them. I think I have done that 3 or 4 times since I have had them.

As long as I keep mine even marginally clean they work fine.

Outlander, thanks for the instructions. Does it take much force to push out the button?
HSMITH, that's some long-lived magazines! I had heard that these mags wear out fairly quickly. I guess it can vary.
