i know this might come as a suprise to many of you all. But I found an anti-gun page which deliberately tries to decieve its audience.
http://www.nrablacklist.com/
it says "stop the NRA from putting these killing machines back on the street" (by ending the 1994 AWB)
and then it shows a Steyr AUG (banned by the 89 import ban) and a street sweeper 12 ga (banned by the JBT's at the ATF)

and I thought they were fighting for truth, justice , and the sheeplian way :fire:

From the website:

"12 slugs in a cop's body in 2 seconds" !?!?

What in the world are they talking about here? You'd have to have some pretty quick trigger fingers to get off 6 shots in one second on a semi-auto rifle. Even then you must have really awesome control to keep rounds on target. More Brady BS to scare the sheeple. :barf:

Speechless.
http://www.nrablacklist.com/gringo.swf

lyrics:Keep your hand on your gun; don't you trust anyone.
There's just one kind of man that you can trust: that's a dead man or a gringo like me.

Be the first one to fire; every man is a liar.
There's just one kind of man who tells the truth: that's a dead man or a gringo like me.

Don't be a fool for a smile or a kiss.
I hear a bullet might miss; keep your eye on your goal.
There's just one rule that can save you your life.
It's a hand on your knife and the devil in your soul.

Keep your hand on your gun; don't you trust anyone.
There's just one kind of man that you can trust: that's a dead man or a gringo like me.

Keep your hand on your gun; don't you trust anyone.
There's just one kind of man that you can trust: that's a dead man or a gringo like me.
Or a gringo like me.
Or a gringo like me.
Like me.

Sheryl Crow and Shania Twain can't be wrong, can they?

Gotta love the image crawler, whose formula is:

Scary Gun, Innocuous gun related image, sniper Aholes Malvo & Co, repeat...

Why, how very surprising!

In fact, I'd be surprised if there are more than a few hundred people in the entire nation who actively advocate disarming law-abiding American citizens. They have access to lots of leftist extremist foundation money, some lawyers and publicity experts, but I have a hunch there actually aren't very many true anti-Second Amendment bigots. There's a lot of overlap and cross-reference, but I don't see much breadth or depth.

Oh, as for the "NRA is Out of Control" page from them that RKCheung posted, hmm looks like "Outrage #2" is another set of inaccurate (I'm sure intentional) scare tactics. I was under the impression that the law was to protect the gun industry from frivolous lawsuits, not all lawsuits. You know the ones, so and so shot someone with a Taurus bought a XYZ Gunshop. Both Taurus and XYZ Gunshop followed all the rules, but lets sue them anyway. Real negligence (such as that possibly shown by Bull's Eye Shooters Supply in "losing" records of many gun purchases) can still get a dealer or distributor in trouble with the BATF and leave them open to both civil and criminal liability.

Gee I must say I'm truly shocked. I would have expected them to be honest, upstanding citizens, just trying to make the world safer.:scrutiny:
