Difference between Walther P99/P99GA/P990

Anyone know what the quick action difference is between the P99 and P99GA is? Anyone have a list or description of all the different types of the actions (double action, etc)? I'm a newbie.

Also, what difference is the P990?

Anyone know if Walter is coming out with a .45 P99? I know S&W has one. Or is the .40 still good? I know some pople don't like it, but it still is fast and makes large holes, right?
