[Badger Arms]

I've got my project gun ready, more or less, to go back together. Stock was a write-off, so I plan on putting a plastic stock on it. My questions are these:

1) Does anybody know what the thread pitch is for the stock bolt? I plan on cutting the old extension down, drilling, and retapping. Essentially, since I've got the old style trigger group, I am converting it to the new style so new-style stocks will fit on it.

2) Has anybody ever done this? Is there something I'm missing?

3) I've got a forend slide that has the handgrip sling mounts. Can this be disassembled or is it permanently installed that way?

Thanks in advance. Haven't been able to figure this out on my own.
