If you were an adjustable S&W rear sight that had been removed for scope install about a year ago, where would you be now? I thought I had put it in the box but the sucker ain't there.

Ummmm, somebody sold me on eBay. :uhoh:
I think she said she was your wife.
Something about cleaning up stuff she found laying around your gun room, so she could have the room for herself.

I'm hiding.
I'm hiding because I'm lonely.
If you buy another sight to keep me company, I'll come out of hiding.

I'm right behind the work bench hanging out with Rusty Screwdriver and Ms. Cellaneous Spring :D

I have a system for coping with such...
By two more.
Install one on gun.
Put the other in a safe place.
Often the safe place for the other is where the original is stowed.
Works for chain lube, silicone, spare parts and extra keys etc.
Sam...of course, often there are two of something I can't find.

You'll never find me...
I'm with a small screw in a paper envelope, in the bottom of a drawer.
I can't tell where, it's dark in here.

It's in the box the scope came in.

Plastic sandwich bags. Small pieces of paper with part name, gun, sometimes serial number, and date written on it. I've got a box marked "Barrels," another marked "Parts," and a third marked "Stocks." I'm about ready to start a "Parts II" box.
