So are Remington Wingmaster HD (high density) shotgun loads as good as they clam in the adds. I just picked up a box of them in #4 to pattern test.

I have only done minimal patterning, which looked good, but they worked very well in the field last Fall. I am liking the way the #5s work on ducks a lot.

It's great stuff if you can afford it. Clean kills at 50 yds with #6 I've used both #4 & #6. I prefer the 6's the pattern is much denser. I patterned it at 35 and 50 yds. I've not used any 5's but I'm sure they work great. For the last two years Remington has offered a very generous rebate of $15 off per box up to 10 boxes per household. If they offer it again this year I'll Take advantage of it again. It gets your cost down to about $15 a box or $1.50 a shot for the 12ga. 2 3/4" - 1 1/4 oz loads.
