Has anyone had experience with installing a CZ angus custom hammer? I was thinking about putting one of those guys on my 75b. I installed a 15lb mainspring but I've had a lot of FTFs dude to some cheap blazer aluminum ammo my girlfriend got my for Christmas. CCI is infamous for their hard primers and I think now with a lighter trigger pull comes a lighter hammer strike. If anyone could tell me how hard it is to install one of these things that would be cool. I know they offer to install it but its a little pricey and if I can do it that would be cool.

That spring is a competition weight. It should only be used with ammo that is tuned to the gun with the spring and then in a competitive setting.

CCI primers are not that hard. I don't use any others and have never had a FTF with a 15-pound spring. You have other issues.

Hammer installation requires basic skills. Send it to Angus or put your old spring back in and save some bucks.

What was your goal in putting in the lighter spring, a better trigger pull? You may be better off using the stock parts and having a local 'smith do a trigger job. Should be $75-$100, depending on the reputation.
