One table with (3) pounds on it, only one in the entire show that had any Varget. I bought (1) pound at $30, more than what I wanted to pay, but this stuff is like gold for .308.:) I'm surprised there was any there at all, by the time I got there, the show had been open for an hour. I'm feelin' good right now.:D

Janobles, if you're serious, there's almost no limit to the amount of Varget I would buy. For my own (and reloading buddy's) use, not for resale.

If my wife hadn't gotten me an 8 pounder of Varget for Christmas last year (before everyone ran out and the price went outta sight), I'd almost be willing to kill for some right now.

The other powder would be IMR 4350. A score on either one would be gravy these days. $30 was a bit pricey, but it's the old law of "supply & demand". If you got the supply, you can demand whatever price people are willing to pay. Not saying I like it, but that's the way a free enterprise system is supposed to work.

KSCC, IMR 4064 is awesome in .308 also, but that stuff is impossible to find as well, fortunately my dad had an extra pound that he sold me.:)

I was able to find 3X 1lb jugs of Varget last week at the local Gander Mt. and it was priced very low for them at $24.95. I wasn't happy about the price but I do need the powder...
