I've never been to an actual gun show here in Washington. But I understand the WAC is in Monroe this weekend. I'll be getting a little cash extra for myself this paycheck ($350) and was about to get me the 14 gun Sentry at my local Wally world. But was wondering if I should check out the gun show this weekend instead. I've only got about that to spend on a safe. Are there any deals out there, or are they about what the local gunshops sell them for? TIA

The prices are about the same as in the gunshops. Check out Sportco's in Fife. They have a good selection and iirc, there was a 8 gun Remington safe w/electronic lock at appx your price range.

I went on their online catalog and only found the 16 gun safe for $388! Did you see the 8 gun online or at their store?

I've been meaning to go there. Been referred there by some fishin' folks. Now I've got an excuse to get a membership.

BTW, do you know of the "no tax for gun safes in Washington"? I'd like to know if there is any truth to that.

I saw it while I was in the store. I dont remember if it held 8 or 16 guns. There is no sales tax on gun safes in Wa.
