Am picking up a case of 7.62x39 today,it's in a sealed tin and locked wood container,think it has 1250 rounds.How can I tell if it's corrosive or not?

Trust me, it is corrosive!

"Sealed tin" makes me lean towards corrosive.

Not a problem. I've got a little Yugo 7.62x39mm that's corrosive. It's just a couple of extra steps to clean your rifle and you'll need to clean it a couple of hours after you shoot it. No biggie. ;)

How to clean?Bolt and bbl with wet water patches?I will shoot it in all my guns....bolt and semi.

if it's foreign made most likely corrosive primed - if steel cased it certainly is. the yugo brass is corrosive too.
windex is a good cleaner for. spray down dripping wet and scrub some.
make sure to get piston/tube.
