I have a student that wants to build a gas fired forge to start hammering some knives. Where is a good place to look
His email is mvnovak at comcast. net if you would like to send him to the right places.

If he isn't dead set on gas, and doesn't mind a little trip across the western border. I have a vintage coal fired forge and accoutrements that would fit nicely in the back of a vehicle.

Have him go to anvilfire.com (http://www.anvilfire.com/) and the abana.org (http://www.abana.org/) websites.

He'll get tons of information.

Tell him to take that offer and get the coal forge from .45Guy. Coal forges can allow you to do things a gas forge won't and they don't explode.
