OK, so now I have my new lever action, a very nice 20" Rossi/Puma '92 in .45 LC which I hear is pretty close to a clone of the Win '92 (not the caliber, the design and construction). (It matches my .45 LC/.45 ACP Cimarron 5.5 inch revolver very nicely, thank you.)

This one is new, but it's a little older model and doesn't have the "modern" safety on the bolt thankfully.

I'm trying to find a source for an oversize lever ring for the rifle and I'm not surewhat the best source for a large ring might be. I already checked with Brownell's and Numrich with no luck. Brownell's usually carries a large ring for the '94 Win, but they are even out of that.

Any suggestions on other sources guys or info on interchangeable parts?

Thanks,
Don P.

I've never seen a "large ring" design on a Rossi - I don't even know if anyone makes one. However, any halfway-competent gunsmith or metalsmith should be able to take your existing lever, enlarge the ring, and then grind it smooth and re-blue it. Shouldn't be a difficult or an expensive job...
