Sig 232/230 Detail Strip?

can someone tell me how to remove the extractor from my 230?

1 Remove the slide from the frame.
2 Push the extractor pin out with a small punch.
3 The extractor and extractor spring will now fall out.

I figured as much, but is the extractor pin the one running right to left or up and down in hte slide?

The extractor pin is the one running vertically through the slide and through the middle/rear of the extractor.

On page 22 of the PDF there is a parts diagram for the P232. The diagram and corresponding parts list illustrate which part is the extractor pin (part 5).
