Got my 1st order of MBC 9mm 124gr LRN. (Wish I'd seen the "action pistol" TRN bullets - I'd have order those instead.) Been loading Rainier plated so far.
From the searches I've done, it appears I should load & crimp as I've been doing for the Rainier's? Using very very light taper crimp with Lee FC. Clays loaded enough so round cycles my M&P Pro (3.8gr). Needed just over max load for lead, in the middle for FMJ, for the Rainiers to run properly. I'll work back up through the lead load data to try the MBCs out. As I understand it, you don't want to run lead too fast OR too slow. (?) These MBC have a Brinell of 18.

Just looking for "yep, that sounds right" feedback. (But feel free to call me a fool who shouldn't be allowed near a loader's handle if I'm off base.)

The only problem with loading them too fast is barrel leading. I would stay under 1000 fps. If you go too slow, the bullet won't seal the barrel and that causes barrel leading as well.

im running mine at 1000+ a little with slight lead problem. also we (my loading partner)run them at 1200 in my 44mag and 1400 in his 41mag contender. with slight leading. They are not MBC they will be my next order though.
