I am considering selling a 686-5 2.5" snub. I just don't need it right now. Any thoughts as to what this would be worth on an internet sale?
Its in good condition, has had a basic trigger job by a PC gunsmith, and a Millet rear sight. I have a S&W box, but not the original box.
Any help would be appreciated.

With good picture, great and detailed description including round count and what kind of ammo....
Might put it on Auction Arms with reserve set at very least you comfortable with. Snubs often get caught up in bidder frenzy and go for quite a bit higher than sensable.
Oh yeah....shipping details and cost in description.
The better the presentation, the better the outcome.
Luck to ya.

I bought my 686 2 1/2" locally in a gun shop for $399
Take away $25 for shipping and another $25 for FFL fee
$349 would be my top dollar for one I couldn't fondle before purchase....
