Don't remember whether it is a Mac 10/11, but I know a guy that has one with a long barrel (about 10") and he wants $200 for it. I think I may be able to work him down to $100-150. What is it worth? P.S.: I only want the gun for resale as there is nothing at all that I find appealing about that jam-o-matic ugly piece of sheet metal. So that said should I buy, and what i it worth?

what they are worth and what people will pay are different. I would give 150 to 200 in a heart beat, cause I know somebody wants it more than I do cause it is "soon to be banned". I gave $200 for a tek9 and traded it for a Smith 586. I don't pay alot for firearms but they are traded for firearms that are woth alot:D

If you can find one $300 is an excellent price. Last one I saw forsale in a gunshop had a price tag of $395, in like new condition, with 2 30 rnd mags and 1 10 rnd (or 15 rnd mag). Complet with sling and box. It was in 9mm. These are the M11. Have yet to see an M10 (.45 ACP) for sale.

Early guns fired from an open bolt and were declared "maching guns" by the ATF. Also I think Cobray sold out. Cobray was the brain child of some Viet Nam SF officer whose's name escapes me.

Thanks for the additional info...but unfortunately I am having trouble getting a hold of him. I still don't know which version it is (I believe it is either 9mm Luger or 9mm Kurz).

9mm kurtz (german for short) is .380acp and then it would be a "mac-12" :D

9mm Kurtz sounds better...:neener: and I suppose it is a Mac-11/12 then. Still have yet to be able to get a hold of him though. :(
